Frequently asked questions.

Cost, ownership, security and time zones, answered plainly.

Starting and cost

How do we start a project with iTechnoSol?

Start with a 30-minute call with a founder. We sign an NDA, pick one department or task, and start with either the free 5-day audit or a senior developer on loan for two weeks. You decide what happens next.

How much does an AI pilot or custom software project cost?

It depends on the scope: how many systems the work touches, how much of your data it uses and how many people will rely on it. The free 5-day audit ends with a fixed price for the first piece of work, so you know the exact cost before you commit.

We are not technical. Can we still run a software project with you?

Yes. Most of the owners we work with are not. You describe the problem in your own words, and we write the plan and the price in plain language. On a project you see a working demo every week, so you judge progress by what the software does. You never need to read code to know where things stand.

What does an AI assistant cost to run each month?

It depends on how much work the assistant handles each month and which AI model each task needs. We send simple work to small models and keep the expensive ones for hard cases. The audit shows the projected monthly cost, the build caps it, and a live dashboard tracks it.

AI and your data

Does our data leave our systems or train someone's model?

Not unless you choose that. We use business-grade AI services with training switched off, and your data stays in your own cloud account wherever your policy requires it. For regulated work we can run open models entirely on your own infrastructure. GDPR and HIPAA requirements are part of the design from day one.

Which AI models do you use, and are we locked in?

No lock-in. We build it so the AI model can be swapped, so you can move between OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or an open model you host yourself without a rewrite. We recommend the model that fits your accuracy, cost and data-residency needs, and we tell you when a cheaper one is good enough.

What happens when the AI gets something wrong?

We design for it. Every assistant answers from your own documents, cites where each answer came from, and hands off to a person when its confidence drops. Nothing consequential runs without human approval. Every action is logged, and most can be reversed.

Working together

Who owns the source code?

You do, all of it, from day one. The code lives in your accounts, under your name, with full documentation. If we part ways, you keep everything and owe us nothing extra.

How do you work across time zones?

Our workday overlaps 3 to 4 hours with US and UK business hours. Daily check-ins happen on your clock, updates arrive in Slack, Teams or Jira, and we answer within 4 business hours.

Can you take over a project from another vendor or an internal team?

Yes, regularly. We audit what exists, tell you what's worth keeping, and take over piece by piece so operations never stop. You get documentation and a clean handover.

How do you handle security reviews and procurement?

We sign your NDA (non-disclosure agreement), MSA (master services agreement) and DPA (data processing agreement), complete vendor security questionnaires, and work inside your access rules: single sign-on, VPN, and only the access each person needs. Every action is logged and documented for IT and compliance.

Which technologies do you use?

Widely used ones, so any competent team can maintain what we build. Most projects run on the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js, with Next.js and TypeScript around it. We also work in Angular and PHP. For mobile apps we use React Native, Kotlin and Swift; for data, PostgreSQL and MySQL; for hosting, AWS. For AI we work with Claude, OpenAI and Google models, or an open model you host yourself. If you already run something else, we start from that.

Do you maintain the software after launch?

Yes. We stay for updates, fixes, performance work and new features, month by month, for as long as you want us.

Book a call with a founder.

Discuss your software or AI project with a founder in a free 30-minute call. We will review your goal, identify the main cost drivers and agree what to scope next.
